Notes from the Executive Director

What a whirlwind two-day meeting we just completed! Thank you again to Entergy and Liz Brister for hosting. The speakers on day two were incredibly well-versed and the discussion on a possible “super block grant” was particularly valuable as we prepare for LIHEAP Action Day.

Please find attached David Carroll’s excellent presentation on LIHEAP Data.

Additional resources discussed during our time together:

1.    The NASCSP Funding Survey for 2015: http://www.waptac.org/data/files/website_docs/Reports/Funding_Survey/NASCSP-2015-WAP-Funding-Survey-FINAL.pdf This was presented by Ray Judy of NASCSP and includes information about LIHEAP passthrough to WAP and other resources that combine for weatherization programs in each state.

2.    LIHEAP Clearinghouse: https://liheapch.acf.hhs.gov/snapshots.htm The link will take you to state snapshots. There is much other information on here as well.

3.    LIHEAP Reports to Congress on the HHS/ACF site: http://www.acf.hhs.gov/ocs/resource/liheap-reports-to-congress The ACF website, again, is a source of much information.

A few additional messages/notes/updates/reminders to start your week:
