Call For Presentations – Fort Lauderdale Conference
Phone your friends! It’s time to submit a proposal for presentation at the 2017 conference! Proposals are due September 9 – please make sure your staffs, associates, friends, and cohorts have their proposal submitted for consideration. Get your own ideas turned in as well – we want to hear from you. The form is attached – share away!
Board Committee Meetings
Has your committee met yet? Attached is a list of committees as of today. I will be contacting each Chair or Co-Chair to talk about scheduling a meeting before the September Planning Session so there can be a report for the board packet. Please use the new conference line below. I am happy to take notes during the call and create the reports.

Website Update, Events Page
We are working on updating the Events Page on the NEUAC website to include all upcoming events, including board meetings, the planning meeting, etc. This way, there will be one place to go to register or find information on any NEUAC event. LIHEAP Action Month – Send NEUAC your News
Send your news to info@neuac.org. If you have published an article, written an op-ed, visited your representatives in Congress, or promoted LIHEAP in ANY way this month, we want to hear about it! We will use it during the “thunderclap” on August 30 to showcase the activities of the month.
