Tell us your story!
Have you or one of your clients been helped by utility assistance?
Energy Assistance comes in many forms – fuel funds, percentage of payment plans, and the federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assist families with energy costs. This help can be invaluable and even life-saving, especially during summer and winter crisis seasons.
Have you or a client been helped by utility assistance? NEUAC is interested in your story. We want to know:
- Has one of the above resources helped keep the lights and heat turned on?
- Did you (or they) ever have to choose between paying your utility bill and other important resources, like food or medicine?
- Have you (or they) been forced to take drastic measures during the hot or cold seasons to keep your home temperate?
- How did LIHEAP, fuel funds or other resources help your (or the) family?
If you are willing to share your story, NEUAC may share it on our website, social media and with others in order to bring awareness to the effects of energy poverty and the benefits of energy assistance programs.
Please note: If you have a video to share, send us an email (info@neuac.org) and we’ll give you instructions on getting it to us!
