Attending the Conference

What is the dress code for the Conference?
The event dress code is business casual. As all meeting areas can run cool, please continue to check the Seattle weather and plan according to your comfort level. You can view the current weather predictions for the week [update link].

What should I wear to the Reception?
Attendees are encouraged to wear flannel or plaid during the Reception on Wednesday, May 20th.

Cancellations

How do I cancel or transfer my registration?
All cancellations are subject to a $100 administrative fee. Requests to cancel must be received no later than 5 p.m. ET on April 30, 2026. No refunds will be issued for requests received after April 30, 2026.

Ticket transfers between attendees from the same organization must also be completed by April 30, 2026. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.

Cancellations, refund requests, and ticket transfer requests should be emailed to NEUAC@events.meetingsolutionsinc.com.

Registration

What is included in the cost of registration?
Your conference registration includes two days of breakout sessions, access to pre-conference and deep dive sessions (pre-registration required), breakfast and lunch on May 19th, breakfast on May 20th, continental breakfast on May 21st, and light hor d’oeuvres at the reception on May 20th.

Is financial assistance available?
NEUAC has limited scholarships available to provide free registration to the 2026 Annual Conference. [link].

Can I pay for my Registration via check?
Check payments must be received via mail no later than April 30, 2026, or the registration will be canceled. You will receive an invoice from NEUAC@events.meetingsolutionsinc.com in two business days with your invoice. Please mail all checks to the National Energy and Utility Affordability Coalition, PO Box 33878 Washington, D.C. 20033.

Where do I check-in for the Conference?
Attendee check-in will start at the Hyatt Regency Seattle on the 3rd floor on Monday, May 18th.

How do I gain entry into the Conference Sessions?
All attendees will be provided with a name badge, which will give you access to all sessions and social events that you have registered to attend. This must be worn at all times within the conference venue.

Can I bring my children?
Children are not permitted in Conference sessions. Children may attend the Seattle Mariners baseball game on May 19th. Attendees can purchase up to 2 tickets while registering. Visit our [update guide] or the Seattle Visitor website for fun things to do with your family in Seattle.

Evening Events & Activities

What evening events are available, and how much do they cost?
Conference attendees have the option to participate in two special evening events. On Tuesday, May 19th, at 6:40 PM, attendees can attend the Seattle Mariners Baseball Game at Lumen Field for [update] per ticket including transportation. Buses will leave at 5:00 PM. Attendees may purchase up to four tickets. There is also a reception on Wednesday, May 20th, hosted at the hotel.

Safety and Security

Is there a lost and found?
NEUAC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If found, please return items to the conference registration desk. Any items left in session rooms will be collected daily and turned over to the Hyatt Regency Seattle security team. If you have lost an item, please see the registration team at the Conference Registration Desk for assistance. You may also post in Whova on the Lost and Found community board.

Will photos be taken during the event?
A conference photographer will be onsite taking photos of the event to be posted on social media after the event. By registering for the NEUAC 2026 Annual Conference, I understand that photos will be taken throughout the event and grant NEUAC permission to use my likeness in promotional materials.
