Is there a virtual option to join the NEUAC 2025 Annual Conference?
The conference will be taking place in person in Charlotte this year. There is no virtual option to attend.
What is the dress code for the Conference?
The event dress code is business casual. As all meeting areas can run cool, please continue to check the Charlotte weather and plan according to your comfort level. You can view the current weather predictions for the week here.
What should I wear to the Welcome Reception?
Attendees are encouraged to bring a hat or t-shirt representing their hometown or state to wear during the Welcome Reception.
How do I cancel or transfer my registration?
All cancellations are subject to a $100 administrative fee. Requests to cancel must be received no later than 5 p.m. ET on May 8, 2025. No refunds will be issued for requests received after May 8, 2025.
Ticket transfers between attendees from the same organization must also be completed by May 8, 2025. Refunds will not be given for no-shows.

What is included in the cost of registration?
Your conference registration includes two days of breakout sessions, access to pre-conference and deep dive sessions (pre-registration required), breakfast and lunch on June 3 and 4, continental breakfast on June 5, and light hor d’oeuvres at the Welcome Reception on June 2.
Is financial assistance available?
NEUAC has limited scholarships available to provide free registration to the 2025 Annual Conference. Priority is given to representatives of NEUAC member nonprofit and tribal organizations, staff of nonprofit and tribal energy assistance programs, first-time attendees, and students. Apply here by April 4.
Can I pay for my Registration via check?
Check payments must be received via mail no later than May 13, 2025, or the registration will be canceled. You will receive an invoice from NEUAC@events.meetingsolutionsinc.com in two business days with your invoice. Please mail all checks to the National Energy and Utility Affordability Coalition, PO Box 33878 Washington, D.C. 20033.
Where do I pick up conference materials?
Attendee check-in will be at the Westin Charlotte on the 2nd floor (lobby level) on Monday, June 2.
How do I gain entry into the Conference Sessions?
All attendees will be provided with a name badge, which will give you access to all sessions and social events that you have registered to attend. This must be worn at all times within the conference venue.
Can I bring my children?
Children are not permitted to attend the NEUAC 2025 Annual Conference. Children may attend the Charlotte Knights baseball game on June 3 or the NoDa Night on June 4. Attendees can purchase up to 2 tickets while registering. Visit our NoDa guide or the Charlotte Visitor website for fun things to do with your family in Charlotte.
What evening events are available, and how much do they cost?
Conference attendees have the option to participate in two special evening events. On Tuesday, June 3, at 6:35 PM, attendees can attend the Charlotte Knights Minor League Baseball Game at Truist Field for $50 per ticket. Each ticket includes access to a private picnic seating area exclusive to NEUAC, an all-you-can-eat buffet, and assorted soft drinks. The stadium is located 0.5 miles from the hotel, which is approximately a 12-minute walk. Attendees may purchase up to two tickets.
On Wednesday, June 4, in the evening, attendees can explore Charlotte’s NoDa (North Davidson) Arts District as part of NoDa Night – A Cultural Experience at NEUAC. The $10 ticket covers transportation on the LYNX Blue Line to and from NoDa and also includes a donation to the Sister Pat Kelly Scholarship Fund. After arriving in NoDa, attendees will have the freedom to explore the area’s restaurants, galleries, and entertainment at their own pace. Food and entertainment are not included in the ticket price.
Is there a lost and found?
NEUAC is not responsible for lost or stolen items. If found, please return items to the conference registration desk. Any items left in session rooms will be collected daily and turned over to the Westin Charlotte security team. If you have lost an item, please see the registration team at the Conference Registration Desk for assistance.
Will photos be taken during the event?
A conference photographer will be onsite taking photos of the event to be posted on social media after the event. By registering for the NEUAC 2025 Annual Conference, I understand that photos will be taken throughout the event and grant NEUAC permission to use my likeness in promotional materials.
